The Royal Meteorological Society is welcoming Professor David Griggs PhD, FRMetS as the new President of the Society, alongside Professor Lesley Gray, PhD, FRMetS as the new Vice-President and Gary Johnston as the new Vice-President for Scotland. They formally took office on 1 October 2020.[more]

Shortlist and public voting until 25 September 2020: the 26 finalists of this year’s ‘Weather Photographer of the Year 2020’ have been announced by the RMetS in association with AccuWeather. The vote is closes 25 September at midnight (BST).[more]
