Call for applications: EMS Tromp Award for biometeorology

The EMS Tromp Award for an outstanding achievement in biometeorology is presented to a scientist for an excellent scientific paper in the field of biometeorology. The paper must have been published in an international peer-reviewed journal with the nominee as first author.

The nomination may be made by the scientist him/herself or by anybody working in the field of biometeorology.

The Tromp Foundation (Foundation for Biometeorological Research) is offering 1000 € and travel expenses for the awardee to attend the EMS2020 in Bratislava and to give a presentation in one of the sessions thematically related to biometeorology.

Please note that in case of the cancellation of  EMS2020 as an onsite meeting, no travel expenses are included in the award this year. Details will be provided later in May.
