Tenure-Track Professorship in Aerosol Modelling

The successful candidate will join University of Vienna as a tenure-track faculty member in aerosol modelling. Embedded in the Aerosol Physics and Environmental Physics research area, this role offers rich cross-faculty synergies with the Faculty of Physics, the Faculty of Earth Sciences, Geography and Astronomy, and beyond.
University of Vienna seeks an outstanding scientist to lead innovative aerosol modelling, complementing a strong experimental program.
Candidates with a strong background in the topical areas of atmospheric aerosol science, aerosol optics, aerosol radiative properties, aerodynamics, irregularly-shaped particles (e.g. mineral dust, volcanic ash, soot, microplastics etc.), and atmospheric aerosol modelling will be preferred. The successful candidate will develop their own line of research, expanding the vibrant research environment of the group and increasing its impact and visibility.
