Senior scientist in the field of climate hazards for risk assessments

The University of Graz seeks to appoint a highly motivated scientist (m/f/d) working on climate hazards for risk assessments and on data management and analysis.
The position will be for six years initially.
After fulfilling a set of specified achievement criteria within this period, the scientist would automatically be promoted to a permanent senior scientist position.
The position will be assigned to the Regional Climate Research Group led by Douglas Maraun and Albert Ossó.
Preferred starting date is July 2025.
