Postdoc Position – Greenland Ice and Climate

A 6 years PostDoc position at the Institute of Geography and Regional Science in the working group CC-MoRec will be available. The research focuses on improving the process understanding of the ice/atmosphere nexus in the context of climate change in high altitudes and high latitudes. The focus is on areas close to the ice margin and/or peripheral glaciers in Greenland, combining innovative in-situ monitoring with remote sensing and modelling approaches across scales. One important anchor is the recently expanded Sermilik research station in East Greenland. The successful candidate will collaborate on existing projects and will develop own research ideas within the group’s research area, supervise students and take over administrative tasks.
