Postdoc position on decadal climate prediction

The work will focus on decadal climate predictions produced by SMHI with the EC-Earth3-model in different spatial resolutions and comparisons to comparable datasets of CMIP6-DCPP, analyzing predictive skill as well as related processes in the coupled climate system. Expertise on this topic is an advantage but no requirement. Suitable candidates should be familiar with working in a Linux environment and posses good programming skills in one of the usual (script) languages.
The position is limited to 2 years and will be situated at SMHI’s head office in Norrköping in southeastern Sweden, approx. 150km southwest of and well-connected to Stockholm.
