PhD position in Earth System Analysis

There is a 3-year PhD position available at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of Freie Universität Berlin, as part of the Horizon 2020 International Training Network (ITN) CriticalEarth.

Focus is on critical transitions in Earth System Dynamics and interactions between multistable Earth System components in past and future climates, using data-driven methods including machine learning techniques. The project will be carried out in collaboration with research groups at the Potsdam Insitite for Climate Impact Research and UC Louvain.
