The World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) and the DKRZ invite applications for the position of the Director of the Earth System Modelling and Observations International Project Office.
This prestigious post is an exciting opportunity for an experienced climate researcher to join the DKRZ team in Hamburg, Germany, a top location for climate research, and lead the set up and execution of a new international project office (IPO) for the WCRP Core Project Earth System Modelling and Observations (ESMO).
You will provide overall support to planning and implementation of ESMO priorities, infrastructure and overall governance and ensure appropriate international leadership, coordination, strategy and communication between ESMO and the other WCRP Core projects and Lighthouse Activities, and other international programmes.
