Purpose & objectives:

• Advance the science of the atmosphere and hydrosphere in Switzerland
• Provide opportunities for exchange and publications
• Advance co-operation on an international level

Main activities:

• Annual Meeting, including scientific presentations and a photo competition; master students are invited for short presentations of their projects
• Events especially arranged for students to introduce employment opportunities outside the academic sector
• Publication of Meteorologische Zeitschrift, together with DMG and ÖGM
• Collaboration with DMG and ÖGM on the triennual conference DACH (conference language German)
