MEDIA WORKSHOP “International communication on Climate Change”

This media-workshop for international weather presenters and representatives of European and international organizations reflects on strategies and “good practices” for effective communication on climate change to the public and decision-makers. Météo et Climat, the French Meteorological Society, is co-organizing this event.
Météo et Climat President Jean Jouzel will officially open the event alongside EUMETSAT’s secretary general, Mr. Phil Evans.

The 2021 workshop will have four focal topics:

• Future focus – WEATHER+
• Focus on Africa
• Decade of ocean for sustainable development
• Climate from space – communicating climate change: What is next?
