Best Paper Award in agrometeorology – “Giampiero Maracchi”

The Italian Association of Agrometeorology, with the Foundation for Climate and Sustainability, announce  the international Best Paper Award 2026 – “Giampiero Maracchi” in agrometeorology.
The award, established to promote and recognize excellence in agrometeorological research, is dedicated to Prof Giampiero Maracchi, who greatly contributed to the development of agrometeorology in Italy.
The award prize is funded by the Fondazione per Clima è Sostinibilità.

Call for applications for the award 2026: submission deadline 30 April

The award is open to scientific papers published in 2025 in indexed journals that address topics related to agrometeorology. The initiative aims in particular to support and encourage the contribution of researchers working in this field, highlighting innovative and high-quality scientific outputs.

Announcement of the awardee

The winner will be during the Annual Conference of AIAM, in Florence next June 2026.
