Symposium “How can we talk about our future transformations?”

This Symposium is part of the 20th International Weather and Climate Forum. It will be held on 6 October 2023  onsite in Paris and online.

The program is built by a Scientific Committee chaired by Valérie MASSON-DELMOTTE, Research Director at CEA, Laboratory for Sciences of Climate and Environment-IPSL.

Abstract
Through keynotes and round tables, discussions will explore the methods for constructing the narratives needed to win the support of individuals, companies and the media, in order to initiate the transformations needed to make the ecological transition a success.

The program will be structured around 3 sessions:

• Session 1 – Sharing scientific knowledge to encourage transition action
• Session 2 – Transforming economic models to contribute to sober and collaborative development
• Session 3 – Accelerating the development of media skills on climate issues in order to stimulate new collective narratives
