PMC24 – PALM Model Conference 2024

PMC24 will take place from 17-20 September 2024 at the DWD headquarters in Offenbach (Frankfurter Str. 135, Offenbach/Main, Germany). Conference participants will be able to attend plenary sessions online or in-person. There is no conference fee.

PMC will bring developers and users of the PALM Model system together. The goal is to provide a forum for the PALM model community to discuss and advance model development, validation, data generation, and recent PALM-based research.

PMC24’s main program starts on Tuesday, 17 September 2024, at 1 pm (CET) and ends on Friday, 20 September 2024, at 1 pm (CET). Embedded in this time frame are plenary sessions, a community meeting, time slots for breakout sessions, working group meetings, developer discussions, and social events.

The PMC24 Organization Team is looking forward to your contributions and participation!

Especially invited are all developers, who contributed code to the PALM model system in the past months (or plan to do so in the next months) to present those new features. Of course, also all other contributions covering model application, early-stage research, model validation, data analysis and similar topics are very welcome.

New at PMC24 will be a round table session where you are invited to ask questions about PALM-related issues, e.g., setup-specific questions. PALM experts will be available during these sessions to give answer. If you have any input for this session, please use the PALM ticket system (Component=”PALM model conference”) to submit your issue.

The abstract submission has closed, the registration is open until 15 August 2024.
