Numerical Model Training 2023 (ICON)
Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD), the Consortium for Small-scale Modeling (COSMO) and the Climate Limited-area Modelling (CLM) Community kindly invite you to the Numerical Model Training Course, which will take place from 27 March to 31 March 2023 at DWD’s headquarter in Offenbach, Germany.
The aim of this training course is to familiarize new users with the modeling framework ICON. DWD offers three courses with a different focus each. The theoretical part of the training is common for all three courses.
However, the respective practical exercises focus on different topics.
To get the most out of this course, applicants are expected to have a sufficient background in UNIX and Fortran.
Please note that you will conduct the practical exercises on your own notebook.
