Nordic Meteorological Meeting 2026

The 34^th Nordic Meteorological Meeting will be held in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, 27 – 29 May 2026. The staff at the Faroe Meteorological Office (FMO) is organising the event.

Abstracts (300 words) of presentations and posters are highly welcome within the themes:

• Nordic & Arctic climate
• Dissemination and communication of weather forecasts
• Weather service to industry applications
• Measuring weather in Nordic & Arctic environment
• Sea state forecasts: Waves, tides and weather driven currents
• Numerical Weather prediction (NWP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in weather forecasting and climate prediction
• Renewable Energy Meteorology
• Meteorology in search and rescue (SAR) operations
