Media workshop – “Understanding Earth from Space: Data, AI and Communication for Climate Adaptation”
As part of the International Weather and Climate Forum, the Media Workshop brings together weather and climate journalists and meteorologists from all around the world and representatives from international organisations working in Weather, Climate, Environment, Ocean and Earth Observation fields.
The 2026 Media Workshop lead by ESA’s ESRIN Establishment (Frascati, Italy) to bridge the gap between cutting-edge science and global diplomacy. By gathering the world’s leading weather presenters and scientists, the event will showcase the power of AI and next-gen satellite technology in climate monitoring. More importantly, it will redefine climate communication as a vital tool for democracy, tackling the rise of disinformation and championing scientific trust as a foundation for international cooperation.
