ICOS Cities Talks
ICOS ERIC (https://www.icos-cp.eu/) coordinates a new Horizon 2020 project called ICOS Cities and is arranging a webinar series around the themes of the project. The series started 3 November. In addition to the project participants, this series is also for cities, citizens, students and professors as well.
An introduction to the webinar series:
ICOS Cities Talks is a new webinar series on greenhouse gas measurement and climate change in urban landscapes. In the series, international experts representing various fields will present a current topic for 30 minutes, followed by a Q&A session and a discussion.
The first talks will evolve around e.g. eddy covariance flux measurements, city climate budget as a tool to achieve ambitious climate goals and measuring attitudes among citizens towards climate change. The first ICOS Cities Talk takes place on November 3 at 2 pm CET. During the upcoming months, there will be plenty of other interesting topics that will be launched very soon.
The webinars are free of charge and open for everyone. Especially students, researchers and other professionals are invited to join. Information on the agenda the topics and speakers is available at:
