Early Career & Student Conference 2024

The Royal Meteorological Society RMetS is inviting abstracts for oral and poster presentations for its Early Career & Student Conference 2024, taking place 1–3 July at the Met Office, Exeter.

The annual event provides a valuable opportunity for undergraduates, graduate students and early-career scientists to showcase their work in a friendly and welcoming environment.

There will be keynote speakers and poster sessions alongside a series of oral presentations.

The conference has grown to become a high-point of the meteorological calendar. After the popularity of last year’s event, the 2024 occasion will run in-person over 2.5 days to allow for more networking, socialising and extended poster sessions.

RMetS encourages undergraduates, Masters and PhD students, and early-career researchers working in fields related to meteorology and climate to apply. The conference theme relates to a broad range of work, so do submit an abstract even if you are unsure how your work fits or have not yet finalised your results.

The deadline for abstracts is Thursday 29 February 2024.
