Early Career Scientist workshop on “Online conferences 2021”

The Geo.X Early Career Scientist Section workshop on “Online conferences 2021” will be on Tuesday, 13 April 2021 between 10-12 h.

The conference season for 2021 is kicking off and for a lot of people this means staying at home while following multiple sessions, giving a talk of presenting a poster, following a workshop, networking etc.

So what does it mean to join an online conference? What are the benefits and what are the negative sides? Some of you may have joined an online conference last year and perhaps have questions on how things have been improved.
