38th International Conference on Alpine Meteorology (ICAM)

The 38th International Conference on Alpine Meteorology (ICAM) will take place from 7–11 June 2027 in Grenoble, France, at the foothills of the Alps. A single plenary scientific program will run from Monday to Friday, with a midweek excursion on Wednesday, 9 June, to the Col du Lautaret. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the renowned high-altitude Alpine Botanical Garden of Lautaret, located near the Écrins massif and offering exceptional views of the iconic La Meije peak and its surrounding glaciers. An icebreaker event will be held on Monday evening, 7 June.

ICAM 2027 will be organized as a hybrid event, combining on-site and online participation for oral sessions, while poster sessions will be held exclusively on-site. Please note that on-site participation is strongly encouraged especially for presenters. Contributions are invited on all aspects of meteorology and climate in mountainous areas.

Abstract submission will open in early December 2026 and close at the end of January 2027. Registration will be available from January through March 2027.
