112th National Congress of the Italian Society of Physics
The 112th Annual Congress of SIF (Società Italiana di Fisica – Italian Society of Physics) will take place in Florence, from 7 to 11 September 2026.
Section 4 will be focused on ‘Geophysics and Environmental Physics’.
Presentations of reports and contributions on the results and most recent developments of the field, either theoretical or experimental on the following topics are welcome:
- Applied geophysics
- Geodesy and remote sensing
- Geodynamics, tectonophysics, seismology
- Geomagnetism and interaction sun-earth
- Meteorology
- Physics of the atmosphere, climatology, oceanography
- Physics of the environment
- Physical volcanology
Themes dealing with the developments of tools and techniques for future experiments are also included.
Accepted abstracts will be presented orally in Italian or in English. As for the invited talks, the speakers will have for their presentation 20 minutes + 5 for discussion, while for contributions the speakers will have 10 minutes + 2 for discussion, accordingly to the section programme.
One of the authors, preferably the speaker, must be member of the Italian Physical Society.
