EUMETSAT and its partners are developing the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) which will combine observations of the climate system with the latest science to develop authoritative, quality assured information about the past, current and future states of the climate globally. EUMETSAT needs a Climate Data Processing Engineer to implement technical data processing activities to support this project. With experience of implementing, operating and validating large data volumes, you will help to distribute and archive the data so that comprehensive and credible information will be provided to the user community.

You will have a background in processing large data volumes and have outstanding programming skills.  You can retrieve, handle and manipulate data in different formats, understanding the specifications of meta-data required for Earth Observation data.  You need to be able to clearly communicate complex ideas and be comfortable working with teams in an international environment.
