THE FORMAT

We plan the 2022 EMS Annual Meeting as an onsite event at the University of Bonn with an online component, in principle allowing online participants to deliver a full oral presentation online. For more details visit https://www.ems2022.eu/about/ems2022_format.html

FOCUS on Connecting Communities:

The challenges for meteorological science and services are growing continuously as climate change and more frequent extreme weather events with high socio-economic impact pose growing threats. The focal topic of the conference  – Connecting communities to deliver seamless weather and climate science and services – is addressing these challenges, as well as opportunities and benefits from seamless interactions between objectives, methodologies and partnerships, reflecting the focus and activities of our local partners Hans-Ertel-Zentrum für Wetterforschung and DWD. Please visit the website for more details: https://www.ems2022.eu/abstracts_and_programme/additional_focus.html

During abstract submission authors are invited to indicate if aspects of their work address this conference focus.
