EMS Tromp Award for biometeorology 2025: nominations invited

Deadline for applications: 30 April 2025

The EMS Tromp Award for an outstanding achievement in biometeorology is presented to a scientist for an excellent scientific paper in the field of biometeorology. The paper must have been published in an international peer-reviewed journal with the nominee as first author, between 1 January 2023 and 30 April 2025.

The nomination may be made by scientists themselves or by anybody working in the field of biometeorology.

The Tromp Foundation (Foundation for Biometeorological Research) is offering 1,500€ and a free registration to attend the EMS Annual Meeting 2025 in September in Ljubljana. The awardee will be highlighted during the EMS Annual Meeting Awards ceremony in Ljubljana and asked to give an award lecture in a topically suitable session

Funds to support conference attendance of you scientists

The Tromp Foundation also supports early career scientists who present papers in the area of biometeorology at EMS Annual Meetings. Find out about terms for  the Tromp foundation travel award to young scientists (TFTAYS) in 2025 for the event in Ljubljana.

Application is through the abstract submission for the EMS2025, the application deadline is 14 April 2025.
