EMS and AMS renew collaboration agreement

As organizations with common goals of supporting the creation and dissemination of knowledge in the atmospheric and related sciences, the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the European Meteorological Society (EMS) have renewed their commitment for mutually beneficial interaction, that includes sections on non-confliction meeting dates, representation at each other’s annual meetings, co-sponsorship of meetings, complimentary institutional subscriptions to member publications.

Stella Kafka, the AMS Executive Director & CEO attended the EMS Annual Meeting in Bratislava, and many of the events alongside the conference; at this occasion, also the extension of the agrement was sigend by Liz Bentley, the new EMS President, and Stella Kafka.
