World Meteorological Day: Open doors at the Cavanis historical meteorological site

To commemorate the World Meteorological Day, the Cavanis historical meteorological site of measurementswill have a day of  “open doors” on 9 April 2016 (23 March is too close to Easter).

At this ancient observatory a little museum of old mechanical barometers, thermo-igrometers, and rain gauges was created by volunteers and meteo-passionates.  Thanks to Cavanis Istitute it was possible to renovate the scientific rooms and the balcony.
