At this recent session, Jörg Steinwagner, the representative of the DMG on the EMS Council, was elected as EMS Vice-President for a 3-year term, starting on 8 September 2025. He follows Dominique Marbouty of Météo et Climat, who acted as Vice-President since spring 2020. Council also approved the venue for the EMS Meeting in 2027, which will be held at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland.[more]
