Technology Achievement Award Committee
With the EMS Technology Achievement Award (TAA) achievements that are influential on developments of technologies and technical solutions in meteorology and related areas, have advanced the methods and technologies of environmental observing and forecasting systems and demonstrated the potential to impact on the field at the European scale are recognised.
The TAA selction committee has the tasks
- To evaluate the nominations,
- To make a recommendation to the EMS Council for the final selection of an awardee,
- And to suggest revisions of the Terms of Reference for the TAA in light of gained experience in the selection process.

The Committee members
Members of the Committee on Meetings, including a chair, are designated by EMS Council for a period of three years. They are eligible for one or more subsequent terms.
