The opening panel with esteemed experts is envisaged to discuss the opportunities, but also the challenges of AI/ML driven models that are revolutionising the way we predict and respond to severe weather events. The Live stream of "The Panel: Harnessing AI: Transforming Early Warning Systems and Flood Prediction" will be freely accessible, and continue into the stream of the Award Presentations & Silver Medal Lecture, followed by the Strategic Lecture, all on Monday, 8 September 2025, 16:00 - 19:00 (CEST).
