As EMS we have launched a new Webinar series to provide opportunities for the EMS community to exchange more often between the annual meetings in September. We started with three very interesting topics: "Understanding the atmosphere of Starry Night", "How the Quiet, Digital and Data-Driven Revolutions are shaping the future of NWP" and "The Geomagnetic Storm: Beauty and the Beast". The recordings of all three events are available from the YouTube Channel. The next event is planned for 29 May: stay tuned.

This year not only the EMS celebrates an anniversary, also some of our Member Societies turn 60, 70, 100 years. In this message you find an article about how the Slovenian Meteorological Society celebrates its 70th anniversary. Slovenia will also be the host of next year's EMS Annual Meeting: mark the dates 8 - 12 September 2025.

Anyone still wanting to contribute to this year's Annual Meeting in Barcelona: abstract submission is still open, and closes tomorrow 18 April 2024.
