Dear readers,

As we go into the second year of the pandemic, we continue to serve the community and keep you updated on activities and developements. The preparations for the Annual Meeting in September continue, with many ideas about how a virtual conference can be made engaging and interactive. The EMS Council will discuss this on 3 February and we will call for contributions in the wake of what it decided.

For now take note of the upcoming award application deadlines and browse the opportunities and news collected in this newsletter.
