With deep sadness we mourn the passing of Victoria Sinclair, our highly appreciated colleague and active EMS member. We remember her as a great colleague with a passion for science and supporting the community.
JEMS alert & Special Issue: The first special issue of the Journal of the European Meteorolgical Society (JEMS), dedicated to the work of Prof. Ehrhard Raschke (1936 – 2023), has recently been completed.
We are delighted to announce more award winners: all are invited to the Annual Meeting in Utrecht and will talk about their work. Find details in the news posts below.
EMS Webinar series: Earlier this month we continued the EMS Webinar series with a panel on "secret advice for the Annual Meeting". If you missed the event: The recording is available on the EMS YouTube channel.
We are delighted to announce a further addition to our webinar series, a joint event with the Associació Catalana de Meteorologia on What Caused the Unusual European Winter of 2025? by Bernat Jiménez Estev on 9 July at 7pm.
