XXXV Scientific Conference of AME and 19th Spanish-Portuguese Meeting of Meteorology

The XXXV Scientific Conference of La Asociación Meteorológica Española (AME) and the 19th Spanish-Portuguese Meeting of Meteorology were jointly held in Léon, Spain, from March 5 to 7, 2018, facilitated by AME.
The Portuguese Association of Meteorology and Geophysics (APMG) was represented by Lourdes Bugalho, APMG’s Vice-President, and Jorge Marques, the APMG Treasurer.

Lourdes Bugalho attended the Opening Ceremony and participated in the panel discussion of the conference theme “Weather and Climate Prediction oriented to impacts”.

This event was very well-attended and reached a high scientific level, with active participation of professionals from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMeT) and Spanish universities.
