EMS Annual Meeting & European Conference on Applied Climatology 2010
Women's networking event
During the EMS & ECAC in Zurich a networking event for women was organised by the Earth Science Women's network (ESWN) and the EMS.

The event was attended by more than 40 women; the presentation was followed by a discussion on the existence of other networks, and inspired many discussions. The participants felt that such networking meetings are very useful, and would like to see more opportunities of this kind. A similar occasion at the EMS&ECAM in Berlin 2011 would be very welcome.
