Postdoc in Regional Land-Ecosystem-Climate Interaction

A postdoctoral opportunity is available in the Hydrology and EcoClimate lab, Dep. of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Yonsei Univ, Seoul, South Korea (http://hecl.yonsei.ac.kr). The university seeks one or two recent PhDs to participate in projects to understand the land-ecosystem-climate processes in the regions such as the Arctic and East Asia  (e.g., to better understand the changes in the active layer depth in the Arctic with the regional land-ecosystem model and the drought processes in East Asia with using the regional- or global-scale climate models).

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in hydrology, atmospheric science, geography, or related disciplines by the time of starting the position. The applicants should be able to demonstrate experience and proficiency in  land surface modelling and/or data assimilation techniques.

The position is available immediately.
