Media
Mission
- Investigate the way presentations have an impact on the public (e.g. survey from universities).
- Serve as a forum for experience exchange between meteorologists working in media in different countries (e.g. web site on consequences of unusual weather events)
- Co-operate with weather presenters members of the AMS, IABM, WMO expert team and IWF
- Harmonize (future) accreditation protocols (or seals of approval) in European countries together with Accreditation Committee
Activities
The Media Committee organizes the Media Session at the EMS Annual Meetings and collaborates with the Awards Committee on the development and selection process of the EMS Media Awards.
