The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) is an intergovernmental organisation supported by more than 30 countries in and around Europe. ECMWF’s objectives are to operationally predict the weather globally up to 15 days ahead as well as to continuously improve the numerical forecasting models through research and development activities.
