Porposals for venues are normally put forward by EMS Member Societies, in collaboration with the national Meteorological and Hydrological Service. Proposals are evaluated by the EMS Committee on Meetings, in close collaboration with ECSN for the European Conference on Applied Climatology (ECAC). The final selection is the task of the EMS Council.
