EMS Annual Meeting & European Conference for Applications of Meteorology 2011
During the EMS & ECAM in Berlin a session on gender equality was organised, convened by Heike Hübener.
During the discussion of the various presentations ideas and proposals for new initiatives were brought up, and listed on a white board. The photos taken from these white boards are accessible here:

These issues were further discussed during a lunch networking meeting, at which Laura Hartmann from the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Berlin gave a personal account on the importance of networks for her own career.
