Deadline extended for EMS Tromp Biometeorology Award: 1 June 2017

The EMS Tromp Award will be awarded to a scientist for an excellent scientific paper in the field of biometeorology, published between
1 January 2015 and 1 June 2017.

Anybody having published a scientific paper in the field of biometeorology meeting the criteria of the award and resident in Europe (WMO RAVI) is eligible to apply for the award. There is no age restriction. Scientists can apply directly or be nominated by another person.

The prize in will be presented during the 17th EMS Annual Meeting, 4-8 September 2017 in Dublin, Ireland. The awardee will receive $US 1,000 and travel expenses to attend the EMS Annual Meeting (includes return economy air fare, accommodation and registration fees).
The awardee is expected to give a presentation at one of the EMS Sessions related to biometeorology.
