The selected candidate will conduct original research on carbon cycle processes using observations from airborne and ground based trace gas observations, as well as measurements from space-borne sensors such as OCO-2, GOSAT and TROPOMI. The focus of this position will be on satellite observations, but their synergy with in situ measurements is also a key area of interest to the team.

This Training Course, which will provide theoretical lessons for an introduction to numerical weather prediction and regional climate modelling. Practical exercises are offered on working with the model system in all these different modes. They give the opportunity to compile the programs, run the model and analyze the output of NWP and RCM runs using standard scripts.
